Vice-Chancellor, Gratis UniversityProfessor VE Adamu is a distinguished scholar, academic leader, and global thought leader in oral protozoology, public health, and parasitology. With a career spanning academia, research, media, technology, and missionary work, he has made significant contributions to higher education, healthcare innovation, and global development.
Professor Adamu holds an MPH in Public Health and a Ph.D. with a research focus on oral protozoology, parasitology, and public health. His scholarly expertise is complemented by advanced training in disease prevention and control, Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR), systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and evidence-based healthcare.
As an accomplished academic administrator, Professor Adamu has served in key leadership positions, including Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Head of Department, Faculty Sub-Dean, Director of Student Affairs, University Academic Planning Officer, Director of an Academic Institute, and a member of both the University Senate and Governing Council. His extensive institutional affiliations include Frontier University, Chandigarh University, UNICAF, and Orapuh School.
Beyond academia, Professor Adamu is a visionary leader committed to advancing education, healthcare, and technology in resource-limited and underserved contexts. He is the President and Chief Academic Officer of Orapuh, Inc., a pioneering institution dedicated to strengthening oral and public health education and research. He is also the CEO of BL Media & ICT Services (BLMIS), where he spearheads innovative media and technology solutions. His passion for global outreach is evident in his role as the Superintendent of Urgent Mission to Nations, an international missionary initiative that has expanded into the Evangelical Faith Church (E-Faith Church).
Professor Adamu’s research interests encompass parasitology, oral health, public health, artificial intelligence in healthcare, Industry 5.0 and healthcare, Society 5.0 and healthcare, healthcare sustainability, supply chain management in healthcare, media and ICT, and global missions. His work reflects a commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship and practical solutions that address contemporary global challenges.
