Our programmes run on a 12-month fast-track model while covering a traditional curriculum. This is achieved through an intensive quarter system. Whether you’re looking to gain foundational skills or master the art of digital entrepreneurship, our MicroExpert Credential (MEC) offers a flexible, 4-tiered pathway. Progress at your own pace and exit with a credential that matches your journey.

9. Is Gratis University really free?

Yes! All learning materials, lectures, and coursework are provided for free. There are no tuition or hidden fees. You only have to pay an administrative fee of N15,000 or $12 per month.

10. Do I have to pay for programme completion documents?

No. Students pay no processing fees to receive official programme completion documents. These documents are issued digitally.

11. Will my qualification be recognised?

Since Gratis University is not accredited, recognition of our programme completion documents depends on the employer, organisation, or institution you approach. Our focus is on practical skills and entrepreneurial success, not accreditation.

Student Engagement & Policies
12. How does Gratis University ensure student commitment?

We have a Strict Engagement Policy, meaning students must:

  • Regularly engage with course materials
  • Complete assignments and discussions
  • Meet deadlines

Failure to participate actively for one month without valid reasons may result in automatic programme withdrawal or expulsion.

13. What happens if I take a break from studies?

If you need a break, you must formally request a study deferment and pay the associated administrative fee. Otherwise, inactive students may be removed from the system after one month of non-engagement.

14. What if I fail a course?

Students who fail a course may be given a chance to retake assessments (There is an administrative fee). However, repeated failure may lead to withdrawal from the programme.

15. Can I switch programmes?

Yes, but students must apply for a programme change and pay a small administrative fee.
