Governance at Gratis University

Gratis University is committed to providing free, high-quality education through a governance model that ensures transparency, accountability, and innovation. Our leadership team, advisors, and academic experts work collaboratively to uphold our mission and guide the university’s strategic direction.

Advisory Board

A group of distinguished experts in educational innovation, technological advancement, and industry leadership who provide strategic oversight, ensure institutional sustainability, and foster global partnerships.

Academic Council

The Academic Council serves as the primary governing body for all academic matters within the university. It is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the institution's academic standards and quality. Key responsibilities include curriculum development, academic policy, and faculty affairs. It is Chaired by the Vice Chancellor (VC). The Vice Chancellor serves as the chief executive and academic officer, leading the university’s vision, operations, and global engagement.

Registry

As the central administrative hub, the Registry oversees student records, academic administration, and policy compliance. Key responsibilities include student records, graduations, and transcripts. It plays a vital role in supporting the university's academic mission through efficient and reliable services. The registry is headed by the Registrar.
